Tarpon infested our waters from May through mid July this year. The season as a whole was phenomenal, with many first on fly for my anglers, some catching multiple fish in a day. Like most fishing, you gotta take the god with the bad. We also had some rough times this season. The hard rain storms of May and June took its toll on the migration. Many days were cancelled or cut short because of the poor weather conditions. After the big squalls it took several days to heal the fishery. Nonetheless the season was great and the anglers I had the pleasure to fish with was even better. See you next year!
