Its been a fairly slow season but things are starting to finally heat up here in Florida. Finding duck that aren’t constantly on the move has been this years challenge. For the most part the coastal birds have been fairly consistent but inland lakes and marshes are very “hit-and-miss”. You will see 1000 birds one day and ZERO the next. STA’s have been good if you get a good lotto, but even some of the Merritt Island impounds have been slow to produce for some of my “STA buddies”.  If you look hard and put in the time you can still shoot a few here and there.
