Tarpon have been outstanding this year in Homosassa. If you get a well presented fly in front of em they will eat it 3/5 times. We are fishing anything from migratory fish to laid up fish in the mouths of the outside creeks. Fish have been very tidal driven and a flat on low tide will look like a waste land but as the water begins to trickle in it starts to look like Boca Grande Pass! Still a lot of rocks so best you don’t try it yourself. My buddy said he could do it on his own and lost his lower unit on the way out of the main river…haha.
